I am interested in buying a 55 F100 which is pretty complete, except the previous owner has lost the diveshaft. I looks like a slip yoke is sticking out of the trans, but the d/s is gone. Any ideas where to get one? I know the axle end looks different, kind of rectangular shaped and the d/s was held on with u-bolts. Any help would be appreciated.

Your local driveline shop can set you up, too. I got a complete driveshaft custom made locally for my '53 for right around $200. They are not that hard to measure, the shop will tell you how.
