Hi! 2.9 EFI '88 valve lash adjustment +

Could anyone give any ideas on this issue? I know that we have hydro lifters, but rockers have adjustment screws. What is the correct procedure to adjust clearence?
Thanks!

Lead Head is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I bent a pushrod on my 2.9, I replaced it, and just tightened it down so there so there was no more/very very little slack, and once i started the motor back up, it tightened itself back up. I'm pretty sure the adjustment bolts are just to take initial slack out, and make changing out parts of the valve train easier.

im working on mine right now, i just replaced the heads, i found that getting each lifter at the lowest point, and then tightening till the push rod has no slack, this does the trick.

this is done under the condition that all lifters are filled up and have maximum possible length, correct?

yeah, i did mine, and the lifters were pumped* up, when you start it they will HYDRALICALLY adjust, mine is running fine and the only tick is the injectors.
