I'm good. Almost all of Cabot is out of power.....kind of eerie driving through there this morning before daylight. It's like a ghost town.

The tornado siren went off about 11:00 pm and seriously got my attention with a huge bolt of lightening and a blasting roar of thunder in the backyard . There was a tornado sighted over by Pickles Gap headed towards me or Elpaso so I kept a good eye on it and stayed up till about 2:30 just keeping an eye on the storms. I just have a lot more water laying in the yard but everything is good.

I'm good at my place... it rained a bunch but didn't even get that windy. Dave I got your phone call the other day but I was still asleep when you called. Sorry I didn't call you back... been busy around here! Appreciate the check-up.

This is nuts this week
I was up half the night watching the warnings roll in, then today as i was leaving my doctors office in Little Rock, the siriens went off and I had to go back in there for another half hour till that mess blew over. Then made it as far as the fuel injection pump shop and another frog strangler hit and I was stuck in there for about a half hour.
By the time this grass gets dry enough to mow I'm going to need to borrow some cows.

Well, thought we had missed the bullet, but, got a call from my son who rents a house in Gurdon from me yesterday. An old oak in the back yard split and a huge section fell across the house. It busted throught the roof trusses in one place almost all the way across the house. Got most of it cut off yesterday afternoon, just gotta figure out how to get the mass off the side of the house without doing more damage. What a mess! Just what I wanted to do.
