Need input on selling my 77 F-150

The truck is located about 45 minutes drive east of Bakersfield. Like I said, it's stored indoors so it hasn't taken the beating most trucks this age have. I'm still trying to figure out what this truck is worth. I mean, it's far from ordinary, even if it were stock, and it's far from stock but not a single thing is neglected on the truck. I figure it should be worth decent money, its not like you can buy a truck like this many places.
Any ideas on where I could get a better feel for the sale price? I still need to send a coulple emails out, but I'm away again, had to go to Kingman AZ (700 miles round trip) for work yesterday, came back exhausted and won't get to relax until tomorrow night.. Emails will go out then.
Thanks guys!

E-Bay?, Ranger 429 would be able to tell you more then me, he has bought and sold a few, and prices vary in different areas of the country, what is worth $3000 here might be worth $6000 someplace else?, don't worry about e-mailing me, I was only only going to get you and Ranger together, but seeing that he posted his e-mail for you, there ya go. I would like to see more pictures of it up on here though, and would like to see what's up under her hood
Good Luck to ya on the sale

The only issue I have with an appraisal is that there are a few factors that come into play that work against me here. You are not going to find similar trucks being sold in an open market to judge the potential sale value against. You also won't find similar trucks in this contition period.
I went to the Ford show at Knotts today, and there was a 74-75 F-250 4x4 there that was all original down to the paint, but on a 1 to 10, the truck was a 5-6 at best for an original unrestored truck. It showed it's age and lots of wear and tear. If anyone else here saw the truck, chime in because it didin't hold a candle to my truck.
I appreciate all of the feedback guys. I've thought about selling the truck for a couple years now, I think I'm finally getting somewhere with doing exactly that. I'll get a few more pictures of the truck posted next week.

OMG... I'm in love. I'd almost be tempted to sell my 99 for that! The wife would kill me then though, so I'd still not get to enjoy driving it.
77's have always twisted my crank. I took a 76 with a 300-6 and four speed that was immaculate and drove like a brand new truck. The bank ticked me off, because it was so "old".
Hey..it's even got the worlds best dual purpose tire on it. Your daddy was a smart man! My dad left me his 55 Panel ( in my gallery ) and I drove it for years, until it was stolen from me and trashed. Still broke my heart to sell it though.
I've never subscribed to a thread before, but I'm curious as to what you find for a selling price.
As much as I love that truck of your dad's, I couldn't afford to buy it much less drive it with gas getting so stupidly priced.
I'd hate to see some kid get it and take it out for his mudder. That's nearly a show and drive truck, in that condition.

Yeah, I have no desire to sell it to a kid. I'd much rather it get into the hands of someone a little more mature.
My 6.0L boroke the LPOP tonight leaving the fuel station, and it makes me think that I might just have to go get the truck out of mothballs and drive it a little one more time abnd shake her down to make sure that there aren't any issues from being in storage...

idahof350,
You have a BEAUTIFUL truck and what you have done to sounds great! Please don't take this wrong, I just am curious, because I too live in California. If someone from California buys your truck how could you get it to smog without the original equipment on it based on the VIN?
I would LOVE to have your truck, but alas I would be unable to purchase.. but good luck! If nothing else, my post helps bump yours up! :-)
