How do I adjust my choke

I bought a 1987 E350 in a motorhome. I think it has an electric choke but I can't figure out how to adjust it. I removed a ton of emmission crap and the engine runs great but the choke just stays on a little to long, once it warms up everything is fine. There is one screw on tthe bottom i removed it but the choke will not turn. Any idea's???

The choke cover is retained by breakaway head "tamper-proof" screws so if it hasn't been touched since the factory, You will see conical nubs (don't know how else to describe them)

I used a Dremel tool to cut a slot in each so I could remove them w/ a screwdriver.
There should be 3 screws IIRC.

*edit*
This a somewhat blurry pic of the choke side of my 4180. You can see I replaced the screws w/ slotted brass ones.

Thanks for the reply, thats my carb, I will get a tool to remove those scews today. Those tubes on either end of the top of the carb can they be plugged off now that the emission stuff is removed or do they need to vent

I would think you do need some kind of vent.
You might tie them both together into a "Tee" fitting and keep it under your aircleaner, that would look sano.

No, you wouldn't need, or want to do that.
I was just thinking it would look more 'right', and not cost anything.

It shouldn't, if the floats are OK, but there is the chance that it could if the float sank or the seat was bad.
