I recently found out you can send the E7TE heads to the Power heads shop to get CNC-ported and make 35+ more rear wheel hp. What year did Ford put the E7TE heads on our 5.0L motors in our F-Series trucks?

 

Based on the part #, alone, it should have been 1987. I know that '88's had them (I just bought a set for my '85 rebuild). Whether Ford put any on late '86's, or made the production switch in early, mid, or late '87, I can't say.....
