Nitros on 400

Anybody have a 400 spraying nitros? Any reliability issues with a 100 shot max?

Retard your ignition timing about 3 degrees to 4 degrees for the 100 shot of nitrous.Take your carb jets up 1-2 steps (to be safe) and make sure you are using an electric fuel pump to supply the fuel solenoid of the nitrous setup, if not the engine also. Make sure you have 5-7 PSI fuel at the nitrous solenoid with the engine at redline or else you could starve it for fuel, load up on nitrous, and detonate the 400 to hell.

Run a higher octane fuel and have fun with the nitorus, i bet you will like what it does to the torque of your 400 more than the top end power it gives you.

Thanks. Was really hoping someone here had done it to a 400. Wanted to see the results. Your info is well appreciated. I will do it soon i hope.
