Try tapping into the white line. It works better imo.
Why do you think it wors better? I'd like it to only "work" in the AC/MAX-AC positions... I use the Vent when it is not too hot/cold to run the AC... Right now I think the AC only works when its on MAX-AC, AC, Vent only (no heat what-so-ever)...

Well, I guess I should have worded that better. For me, the white line works better because the white line has vacuum applied on max a/c and off, meaning the heater core wouldn't have any supply of hot coolant in those positions. If you tap into the red line, you are having full vacuum on max a/c, a/c, panel, and panel floor causing cooler air discharge but no heat control over ambient temps. This means you will only get heat in floor, floor defrost, and defrost. Also, in the off position, the heater core will still have coolant circulating.
The A/C compressor is active above 43* F in MAX A/C, A/C, Panel/Floor, Floor/Defrost, and Defrost, assuming you have manual A/C. Of course, EATC uses completely different commands. Max A/C is the most efficient when using A/C because the air is recirculated so less heat dissipation and de misting has to take place causing the compressor to run less. You probably won't need heat much in that part of Tx now that I think of it...
