Classic country is the best by far. Too much crap on CMT nowadays. Does anyone remember when they had Signature Series at noon everyday? I miss that

I like the classic country like Jonny Horton and Merl Haggard, but I like a lot of the country now a days that kinda sounds like Rock/Country. Metal is my favorite though so I don't own any country albums. Ha, I'm 25 and like Jonny Horton.....

I love country.I'm only 18 and I can remember some of the older stuff when it came out.I've listened to country all my life. It's what I grew up with and where I grew up.My mom and dad listen to it too.I really like listening to chris Ledoux,Hank Williams(SR. and JR.) and Garth and a lot of the older ones,it bring me back to the simpler times of my life when I didn't have care in the world.I like some of the newer stuff too.Great music over all.

new "country" isnt country at all. i hate that new crap almost as much as i hate that " i slit my wrists cuz my parents hate me crap" there are some exceptions to the rule. but for the most part new "country" is just pop music.

My MP3 player / cell phone has a 2gb card in it, and only 2 songs are not country... They're blues I have everything from Alan Jackson to The Wilkinsons. Name it, and I probably have it if it is country. Regardless of era. I use to be a Night club DJ in the 90's. I just can't handle thump thump music anymore. Unless it is Country Cross over like "Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks - Gin and Juice" Gin & Juice was originally done by Snoop Dog, but The Gourds got a hold of it and turned it into a country song.

The Gourds are about the only country band I like, and I love them...I got to see them live a few weeks ago...

Cant beat George Jones singing "He Stopped Loving Her Today" and Rebas "When Whoevers In New England" and "Not Ready to Make Nice" by the Dixie Chicks...But I love Waylon Jennings and his "Amanda",and anything Willie Nelson sings. My most favorite song that I listen to every morning on my way to work is Trace Adkins "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk",it gets me in the mood to move !!!
