Ok, so on last Saturday I got the rear fuel pump in, and the box on the truck. Now I have to wait for another warm weekend with little or no wind so I can finish painting it black to match the truck.
Sunday I put a "ford" box liner in. From a 2008 F150 gotta love them free box liners. I need to modify the caps to fit my rails.
Yesterday: I replaced the factory deck (the one that got stolen) with a $49. CD Player from Walmart. Works nice, and has a mute button, whee I can hear my phone calls again...
Well, I got the top ready to take off to put on my new tailgate, replaced a the bolts in the hood that were missing, put the grill on, fixed part of the dash that was falling off, and fixed the broken armrest.....today maybe I will install my CD player....

Chances are it wasnt. Carters are a pain in the butt anyway. Carter carbs are almost as bad as Nikki.... Get a Webber and be done with it.
Did the door mod on the truck, and oil change, fuel filter, maybe this weekend the tranny flush, and soon to add the window deflectors, (they are on order)
Doing some cosmetic stuff on my 78 F100. Finally installed my window regulator (finally rolls up and down!), got some vent window handles, rear view mirror and door panels. It's been sunny out too so I want to scrap off to paint on my dash and repaint it
Wheee finally figured out where that smell of oil is coming from.... my rocker cover bolts were loose. Tightened all the ones I could reach for now. I'll have to get a knuckle head to get the back ones. I really dont want to take the manifold off.
I ordered some COP's today. Hoping that will fix my issue. Even not running full song that little 5.4 pulls 7k quite well. Little slow going up some hills but overall I'm Kind of impressed. Sure can turn some rpm's.

Found out yesterday what kind of TORQUE that engine has. I pulled a full size E150 about 1/2 a klick just idling. I didn't touch the gas at all.
But developed another issue, it seems that when I put my hazards on, it kills my battery, even if the truck is running... twice yesterday I used my hazards and then some time later I went to start it again, and it didn't want to turn over.
