April general discussion thread.

Hey Arkansas members. Are any of you in the areas affected by the flooding rivers? Is there anything some of us members could do to help? Hope everyone is OK in the flood areas. Going to hurt farmers I'm guessing.

Good thread title Larry. Thank you

Haven't seen you on in a few days....everything ok?

My creek flooded over the driveway (again) and washed all my gravel into the ditch, but other than that no serious water problems.

Great idea offering to help. I had to rep ya' for it.

I may have to put pontoons on the 8N to get the grass cut but other than that were good here so far.

I haven't seen the kind of rain we got on Sunday in a long time. Our road was passable but under 2-4" of water in about 6 places..

Guess we'll have to put off camping at the lake for a while, I drove through our usual campsite before these past 2 rains and about 1/3 of the campsite was flooded.. now I'm sure its even worse

My mom lives on the lake......Normally about 300 yards from the water. Right now she lives about 200 feet away.

Everything is great. We live on a ridge so no flooding for us and we have had only minor, short term flooding locally.

Hello from your southern neighbor.

The water is not going to effect me. I live inside the leavees. It is already doing alot of flooding on the area rivers. I live close to the Mississippi river. The Ouchita come close to my cousins house. He may end up wit some flooding around there.

I just downloaded a ringtone ripper Make your own ringtones with ringtone ripper beta and it lets me make my own ringtones out of any mp3 stored on my computer or any cd. I'm having a blast with it. I also bought a Belkin bluetooth adapter from Wal-Mart for $20 so I can send my tones and pics between my computer and my phone all day long for free....and I don't get the spam messages on my phone from the ringtone companies.

I can't believe how much of a techno-geek I'm turning into (just call me Joe jr. )...but it's fun. Everybody on my phone list is getting a custom classic rock ringtone that's not available anywhere but my hose.

They're still not letting any water out of Greers Ferry.....Mom's lakefront property now ends about 15 feet past her clothesline.

She doesn't feel threatened yet...but that was yesterday may change her mind after todays rains hit the lake.

Here's a few crappy camera phone shots of big blue crossing a swollen stream.....which also happens to be my driveway:
