I'd like to help out any way I can. I was active duty Army for 8 years and my wife is in Iraq with the 101st ABN for a 16 month tour. I'm probably on a small list of men that had to send his wife off to war but that's a sign of the times. Just not a natural feeling.

I have had many family members serve in the different branches of the military, including my grandfather who served during WW2 and both my parents who served in the Army as MP's. I am really glad to see this thread upon viewing FTE. I live in Mid-East Ohio and will do my best to help.

COB Speicher? One of Sadam's old airbases. That's were my wife just went today after some time at FOB Summerall. It's amazing how many bases are over there now....

Just to give everyone an update. I am alive and as well as can be. I am back to my normal base. I got pulled off of driveing trucks to go back to working in the dfac. Which is leaving me bored out of my mind. Ican't even cook while there I just watch.
