I have a 93 f150, straight6, 5 speed manual, 4x2. I am having a dilema finding out the correct trans for the truck. I'm not sure if its the mazda or ford trans. The trans code on the drivers door sticker is M. The dealer is no help. They say its too old to decode the vin#. Please help! I need a new trans. 1st, 2nd and sometimes reverse is gone!

Click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll over the boards. I would use the one for your year of truck and see what they say.
