Did the probe GT ever come with a 3.0? I thought they were only the 2.5L KL-DE, at least in the US. KL-ZE overseas (for the MX-6 anyway).

exactly as ^^^ its not ford nor mitsu... its a mazda engine, twin cam. to get at the pump, you are probably having to get through the timing belt. its $$$ to fix. while you are in there for the pump, might as well do the timing belt if it has not been changed. the timing belt has to be removed in order to remove the water pump. hence replace belt while you are at it.
aite will do. was thinking it over, and to be honest, a probe fits the criteria nicely for what i want (minus being rwd, but oh well). plus i don't have time to tinker on a hachi or the place to. and my mom/gf likes the look of probes. so i think i may have to talk to my boss about buying it...
