There are a few good ones out there. SCT products work very well with Ford vehicles. If you have any paticular questions feel free to ask. Also, if interested we have set up discounted pricing for FTE members on SCT products.

Hi HemiEater
As far as SCT, SCT calibrations for the explorer 4.6L are very similar to the 4.6L truck and expe's. Similar gains in power and econonmy can be expected when running with a higher octance fuel.

well I guess I'm missing something... I just need to buy one for the 4.6? it don't matter what it's for (truck, explorer) as long as it's for the 4.6... ???

I would like to get one that will turn off the traction control..

Yes sir; Absolutley, SCT products like an X3 can turn off traction control. And the drive by wire will be improved with increase throttle response and feel.

Hi HemiEater
My opinion is an X3. Sorry for all the X3's on site I need to reformat that for sure, so its not so busy. Also, For a quicker response email me at mike@5startuning.com I dont have a chance to look at FTE but about 1 time a day.

thanks
Mike
