hey everyone

hey everyone, been a while since i've been on, so busy with school and all. I'm finally gonna have the time and money to finish off my '76 this year but last winter when i was driving it my steering column went on me(the gear selector blew apart) so i took it out and cant fix it, i've been looking all over for one with the neutral start switch built in but have had no luck, i also need that rubber coupler that is in between the column and steering box. I have tried all over and no one sells them and they are always rotted out in scrap yards. Does anyone know where i can get these parts?

LMC or NPD or Jeffs bronco graveyard.

You should be able to find those parts online in a lot of places.

Cheers, Rick Also.

Too bad your 8 hours away I have a column sitting in my shop. I'll check today on the rubber coupler. If I have one I might be able to mail it up to you for a reasonable price.

You should be able to buy the gear selector collar from some of the sponsors here. It's a very common failure as it's made out white metal or pot metal, you can't fix it.
As for the rag joint, a local guy tossed me a used one for $5, 'turned out that it didn''t fit but I was able to use the rubber section and rebuild mine. Be careful not break the small ground strap, your horn will stop working and it's the last place you'll look for the problem, or at least it's the last place I looked!

Just make one ( Rag Joint Insulator) out of some conveyor belt

No got to a place that sells Motormite or HELP products like C.T.
