just wondering

I'm wanting to move my coil to the fire wall and am wondering if that will cause problems by making the coil wire longer?

...actually, you will probably find that the length of the coil wire is not going to be significantly important. The drop loss will be so very, very small that you can have the coil wire as long as you want.
