Yep and the original game of pong was considered cutting edge technology back then. Can still find some good lps at yard sales if they aren't too scratched up. Just hard to find a good needle if you still have the record player. Radio Shack used to be my second choice if the music store didn't have any. Ain't nothing like waiting in line only to find out the needle you need was just sold to the last person hahaha. I still have of those yellow inserts for the 45's around here somewhere i think. CD's came along it was nice and clear but now i find myself wanting to hear those pops and clicks again. This getting older sucks, i still listen to the same music but its now considered classic?? Music is still the same but people's opinion of it changed i guess.
