Castrol Syntec 75w90 in the diff?

The manual says 80w90 for the diff lube but I'd like to switch to synthetic. The only syn lube in town is Castrol Syntec 75w90 - am I ok with that?
They had regular Castrol 80w90 but it was only rated for passenger cars and light trucks.
