New "Drifter" coming in November!

For anyone who might have missed it in the General Conversation forum, my wife and I are expecting our first baby in November! She took a home pregnancy test 3 weeks ago and it came out positive. Then she confirmed it with the doctor 1 1/2 weeks ago and he told her that we can expect Ethan Michael or Kaytlyn Rose on 21 November.

I've been walking in the clouds for the last 3 weeks and I'm not coming down anytime soon. It's amazing how you can love something before it's even born so much. I don't care if we have a boy or a girl, I just want a healthy child.

I'm gonna be a DADDY!!!

As long as your baby is born on the 21st or 23rd its okay, I don't want to share!

Congrats, Dan (& Debbie)!

Well, Debbie and I found out just a mere 4 hours ago that we are having a little girl. Kaytlyn Rose is growing just fine and momma is doing great herself. Now I have to worry about boyfriends 15 years from now and how I can scare them straight with a well timed .45 or M-1 Garand cleaning.

You need more guns... enough to have scattered around the whole living room the first time she brings somebody home...

Good to hear momma and baby are doing great. Less than 5 months to go!

Congrats Dan!

At least you've got 15 years to prepare, there are a lot of other things that will scare you in between then.

You know that expression "floating on cloud 9"? Well, I'm past 9 and on my way to cloud 23! When I saw my little baby girl on the monitor for the very first time, I fell madly in love with her and she melted my heart.

She has me wrapped around her little finger already and she's only 20 weeks old!!!

Just a little update boys and girls.

Debbie is doing just fine and Kaytlyn is growing like a weed. Her due date is the 21st, but to look at Debb, you'd think her due date was 2 months ago. (hope she doesn't read that)

I'm a nervous wreck and everytime Debb makes a noise, I'm reaching for the bag we have packed for her and I have to stop myself from dragging her to the car. I don't think I can handle another 14 days of this!!!

as a father of a 15 year old daughter, my advice is realtree cammo, night vision goggles, and a crossbow because they don't make noise, lol. just kiding man, I got girls and boys from 3 all the way to 15 years old. being taught self esteem and to respect themselves is number one, just growing up in Montana is also a great help. other than that I just pray a lot.

KAYTLYN ROSE TAYLOR is finally here!! Debbie went into labor Monday morning at 02:30 and just a mere 23 hours later, 11/25/08 01:36 am our daughter came into this world to the proudest papa and the prettiest mama.

8.8 lbs, 21" long, sandy colored hair, (and lots of it too), and daddy's strong will. Debb had to have a C-section, but her and Katie-bug are doing great. I'll get some pics up here as soon as I can.

P.S.

Homer the dog, (black lab/irish setter mix), doesn't quite know what to think of this new puppy that squeeks and makes a lot of noise, but he's very curious.
