Thumbs up K & N Air Filter VS Amsoil Ea Air Filter

Has anyone changed their Air Filter from K & N too Am soil Ea Air Filter and if so what was your experience between the two?

Did you notice any difference with the Amsoil Ea Air Filter over the K & N Air Filter or vice a versa?

I am looking to change from K & N Air Filter too Amsoil Ea Air Filter for the reason that I had to put a NEW AIR SENSOR on my 1999 For Ranger 2.5 4 CYL. , do to the fact that dirt or oil got on it and made it go bad.

As far as performance is, this is what I will have to see which one will gave me the best.

I am hoping that someone has the experience between the two first hand.

Ford would like me to go with the paper air filter.

I don't know much about the Amsoil but I do know that K&N aren't worth a crap, after awhile of using a K&N I could hold it up to light and see pretty big holes. We started selling AFE air filters and i'm pretty satisfied with them for my daily driver but in my mud truck or anything that goes off road I still use the good old fashioned paper fram.

hope that helps

I put in a AEM "Dryflow" panel direct fit performance air filter in my 08' 5.4L F-150, I seen 2 mpg gain since installing it, also does not void warranty since you dont have to oil it, K&N use will void your warranty or any other oiled filter. Oh and you saw "big" holes in the media? Theres your more flow they claim they let dirt and dust in BIGTIME in return you get better performance but filtration not good too much crap get in the engine and shortens engine life. Dryflow is the way to go!
