Well....it could be a number of things......What year truck you got??? Does it idle rough or when you step on the gas does it shake....Could be plugs, wires, cadillidic converter, accellerator pump, fuel filter, timing....

I'm having a similar issue with my 94 4x4 351. My truck idles just fine but falls on its face upon accel. I had the IAC and Fuel Press. Reg. go bad last week and replaced them both. while under the hood i also replaced the plugs. Looks like i'll be replacing the cap and rotor tonight becuase when i pulled them at lunch there was a bit of moisture in them along with the fuel filter. I too will report on my findings, and move on to the rest of the never ending list if not!! Oh.. and i have no CE light on either.. just trippin' and bustin' it's nose just off idle, and between gears.

That could be a vacuum leak, look for broken vacuum lines or a rusted out vacuum resovoir. A sticking EGR could also cause similar problems.
