Question Imulsivified Oil

O.k. I Know This Has Been Discussed Before But The Crap That Builds Up Inside The Oil Filler Cap Is Unsat. Does Anyone Know Of A Conversion That Will Make The Filler Cap Directly On The Valve Cover Or Is There Something Else, One Can By To Solve This Ford F-up. I Know In The Summer It Should Go Away Due To Higher More Consistent Temps.

I"m not sure if directly putting the cap on the valve cover will make a difference since it's moisture in the system. I would still think you'd have the buildup, just inside the covers. The first time I saw it in my cap I was freaking out as well. 90K later, I just wipe it off when I change my oil.

I guess it's just the nature of the 5.4. My ranger doesn't due do it and neither did my cobra. Well, I guess as long as it doesn't jack up the motor, since there's no TSB's on it. O-well at least I'm not the only one with this problem.

You got it, I did the same thing, I still don't like it at all but I guess that's just the nature of the 5.4
