running flathead

i posted this over on the 48-60 forum but want to put it here too . i have a chance at getting a running , blown head gasket , 8ba out of a 49 shoebox ,transmission and radiator for $ 300 . i cant do it right now but if any of you are let me know . he's only willing to part with it at that price till he pulls it then on to ebay . it's 60 miles north of me in peoria so if ya wanna spare let me know i'll try and hook you up with matt .

yep my bud norman bought it . he's a dodge man , but after riding around in my ol' flatty 53 he has got it bad for a flathead powered pickup of the blue oval variety !!! i really didnt expect it to sit around too long anyway as it was a running engine , and the flatheads seem to be in " vogue " right now .
