Man that was a sweet deal! I just got a 96 and I thought it was a great deal at $5K. I am new to diesel engines, but I'm real excited about it. Here are some pics just so you can check it out and let me know what you think. It's got 178K miles on it, not too bad and it's in pretty good shape. I need a picture of the engine though, it's factory for now, but it looks clean.

Yea it is X-cab, short bed. I didn't see any others when I was looking around for a couple of months. Yea it's 2wd too. Thanks. I've just been busy trying to get it serviced and get all the little kinks worked out. Then I will start figuring out all the other cool stuff that I could do to it.

Good looking truck Bino. Its rare to see the drivers seat that good. My 95 belonged to a seventy-something year-old brick layer that was 6'3 and 260lbs. You can almost see the impression of the crack of his bASS on it. And there is no cushion left. Its like sitting in a bathtub, lol. Welcome to FTE. This website is going to be the best thing you ever joined .

desy cody(rubberduck) did a write up on how he fixed the saggy seat situation. i think that if you type in seat repair to the search key it should come up.

Unbelievably fantastic deal, Desy. I'd cry over what I paid for my '97, but I can't afford that right now. lol Where's the burn-out vid? Don't forget pictures of the rig with new shoes.

Bino - nice looking rig.
