Need base MSRP on a 2003

Car manufacturers must be hurting big time???? This is too good to be true.

But I may look into it anyway if somebody can give me the base MSRP on a 2003 Excursion.

I wanted to take a minute of your time and offer you an exclusive internet one time promotion. This is the most aggressive program that has been authorized by this company in the past 20 years. The demand for used cars has hit an all time high and we are looking for great pre-owned vehicles from 2001-2007 model year. Any customer who has a vehicle that fits that description needs to rush in to take advantage of this special offer. We just received a fresh shipment of vehicles in from the factory for this program and have been authorized to make every deal.

All you need to do is drive your vehicle in to the ONLY location authorized to offer this promotion. We have been provided by the N.A.D.A with the factory's base MSRP List Price on the vehicle you are currently driving. All customers that drive in with this offer will receive 100% of the base MSRP in trade toward a new Ford.

This is a test program that is only offered at this location and is designed exclusively for 2001-2007 model year vehicles. Your vehicle must be in safe running condition, with only normal wear and tear and free of any collision or paint work. The only deductions that will be made is for mileage and that will range from $0.15 to $0.55 per mile depending on your vehicles make, model and reconditioning.

YOU MUST PRINT OUT THE AUTHORIZATION FORM BELOW AND PRESENT IT TO YOUR SALES PERSON, Julie L Wooden , WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE DEALERSHIP.

Regards,
Steve Travers

Nevermind!

I see the catch now. They burn you a new one on the mileage deduction.

I overlooked this when I first read the e-mail.

Yeah... .55 a mile. You know that's what they charge for everybody. Gets you in the dealership at least.

Yeah. I am ashamed of myself for getting excited when I read the e-mail.

An excursion with an original MSRP of $50,000 would be worth $1,050 trade-in if it has 89,000 miles on it.
