The 51/52 F-7 & F-8s have a larger fender than the F-6 and on down. if you knew what series it might help i.e. F-4 or F-7 etc
here is a picture of a 51or52 F-7 that I'm in the process of parting out. The fender is a lot wider on top than the F-2 through 6 http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc208/jfmadsen/?action=view¤t=Copyof51flatbeddumpF-7011.jpg
The grill is the same for all models for those years and
I'm pretty sure the upper and lower grill valence's are the same.

"edit" according to Bobs Chart the grill from a f-7,8 is wider than the smaller models, which seems to make sense being that the fenders are wider. I seem to remember measuring the width of that grill in the picture and thinking they were the same size, although I was measuring it while it was still installed. I will have to take a closer look once I have it removed, hmm

What part of Utah are you in? I am in the high desert area of So Cal and may have some nice fenders for you. I think they were from a 52 F2 to F6, not the largest ones. Really not looking for much or maybe even trading stuff, just hate to see them go to waste. I can send pix if you want.
Let me know.

Hi,
If you go to the top of this page in the menu bar (look five inches down and three inches in from the the left) you will see a link called "User CP." if you click on that, it opens a vertical window called "Control Panel." about two thirds of the way down you will see "Private Messages."
Your truck is probably an F5. If so it takes the same front fenders as an F2-F6. The F1 had the smaller wheel opening because it had smaller wheels standard (some F2s had small wheels also but still had the larger openings). I believe (but am not certain) that the F7/F8 front fenders were larger. According to the Chassis ....manual, all the fenders have the same part number, but the letter prefixes (designating the applicable vehicle) are different they are listed for F1; F2-F6; F5&6 COE; and F7/F8. There are lots of fenders on e-bay - about $100 to $500 each depending on quality and age.

sandidande is right, there are usually a few fenders to be found on ebay. but depending on the condition of them you could easily spend more on shipping them than they are worth. something to consider. most all of them seem to have rust in the same place, where they meet the running boards. anyway I just wanted to let you know I have a pair of the larger F7 F8 fenders if that is what you needed. just let me know.
I think if you have the vin number from the truck it should tell you which model it is, I cant remember if the F7 F8s are similar to the smaller ones as far as that goes?

The serial numbering should all be the same from model to model within a given year (except when they changed it in mid 51 from old style to newer). BUT!!!!!! Be sure to take the serial number that appears stamped on the drivers side upper frame somewhere between the steering box and shock absorber mount. If the cab, or the glove box door have been replaced, the rating plate and firewall plate may have the wrong numbers on them. If you post it I will be glad to decode it or refer you to the GREAT FTE serial number decoder!

PS. There are two guys that I know of in Central California who part out F1s at a rate of about a truck every two months who sell on e-bay. I've gotten parts from them and they are both very reliable. They could probably ship a set via Greyhoud bus to you for under $100. My original fenders were destroyed on the back edges at the running board. Alot of this was metal fatigue because I have a full tilt front and the originals were not braced. But they all rust out right above the joint with the lower fender as well. My "reconditioned" (professionally patched in those two places and in next to new condition) cost me about $700 for the pair and I drove from San Diego to Fresno to pick them up.
