diamond eye exhaust systems

My neighbor just installed a diamond eye exhaust on his truck yesterday. I went over to offer advice (especially since he has a Dodge and mine is a Ford) and he had the entire original exhaust already on the driveway floor.
I wanted to ask him if he needed a tow somewhere. :-) But I remained cordial...
The kit he had was basically a generic one size fits all. He was able to use most of his original exhaust hangers. The kit came with plenty of clamps. He only had to cut one piece of piping from the kit (about 2ft of the piece right after the muffler). We believe he had to cut this much since his truck was just an extended cab and not a crew cab (like mine, which is about 24 inches longer than his). He also cut about 4-5 inches of the end pipe so is wasnt visible in the stainless steel exhaust tip opening...
He started up his truck and revved it a few times. The system didn't sound much different (however I never really paid much attention to his truck before, well it is a Dodge and since I own the Ford, mine is what was/is important to me). To be honest, he's a great guy and doesn't really rev his diesel much in the neighborhood (like me), so I really couldn't compare, but his truck did sound a bit smoother and not as "raspy" as before...
I'm not sure about the overall quality, but the ease of installation seemed fairly easy (for anyone who's done a puzzle, lego's, or connex-its..). Just need a reciprocating saw and some metal blades to cut out the old system and the one or two pieces of piping on the new... A buddy to help and tease is always a plus though...

I'm in the middle of installing a Diamond Eye system on my 7.3L- 4" turbo back aluminzed duals. I'm having problems with the install, but I think it's because I was sent some of the wrong pipes. Quality seems good, price was great and the help so far has been good. Their install instructions are a little vague, at least for the 7.3L.

got it put on, doesn't sound no different that stock prett much. Does seem like my EGTs dropped though, pulled a 24ft trailer through the mountains and never hit 1000. Use to damn near hit 1200 before. Gas mileage is still pretty much the same. if there is a change, it is too small to tell.
