The wife and I just got a new 26 foot travel trailer and I pulled it home with the Expy. It did fine considering it is a 6000lb trailer. The problem is I got home and did a search online for towing mirrors for the expy and the ones available are downright goofy! I can only find the type that kinda clip on-and those have a tendency to fall off or move as my uncle has some of those. For my F-150 they make some slick one's that slide on to the factory ones and tighten up with a bolt. Does anyone know of any of this type for a 2006 Ford Expedition? I guess I will be buying me a brake controller and mirrors for my f-150 and turning that into my tow vehicle, and scrapping the expy as a tow vehicle. Thanks......

 

Ford has Factory Telescoping Tow mirrors. I believe TASCA sales them as well for a lot less. Someone on here had done a write up on the conversion but I can't find it. I want to do the samething on my 2004.

Didn't see your original post on this, but I posted this info a couple of days ago. Maybe these mirrors will work for you.

I know many of you have been searching for universal towing mirrors that will work with your 2006 Expy. Specifically the Eddie B. edition with the signals on the bottom of the side mirrors. I've finally found one that works and took them out for the first time this weekend. I picked up a pair of the Milenco Aero 2 mirrors. The key for those of us who have signals on the bottom of our mirrors are that straps don't typically work. These have no straps and clamp to the top of the mirror. I had the Expy up over 60 with the trailer and while they aren't totally vibration free, I much preferred them to the old straps ons that I was using. They are typically available in England and Australia and I was about to buy them on Ebay when I found them at https://www.makariosrv.com/.
Perfect, not quite...better than other options, definitely. They have a couple of options and I'm VERY happy with these mirrors. I found them on this youtube vid:
