Programmers

What are the programmers doing. Do they up the allowable pressure from the turbo, increase fuel, or both.

Are all programmers safe?

Many have multiple modes from 60-100? Are all modes safe?

Do you need a egt gauges with when using modules?

Thanks for the help.

First yes you need a pyro (pre-turbo!!!) for any programmers or chip even the ones that say you don't. The programmers and chips deliver more fuel in simplest terms but many tweak many other parameters as well as tranny shift points and line pressure.

"safe" is a relative term. Safe is also sunject to your right foot and your left eye (watching your pyro).

I recommend (as well as many others here) Tony Wildman or Dp-tuner

With stock injectors the largest gain you will see at the rear wheels will be around 70 hp.
