Hey. Thanks y'all. I'm still trying to figure this site out. I have a hard time trying to get around on here. I've been trying to replace the bearing on my 92 f150 4x4 and on the driver side I can't get the spindle nut off. Anybody got any ideas. I'm also looking to buy a 99 to 04 f250 powerstroke crew cab 4x4. If anybody knows where I can get a good deal or has one for sale cheap I would appreciate it if you would let me know. Thanks for the welcomes too.
Collin's auto brokerage in Searcy has quite a few powerstrokes sitting on the lot, not sure of there prices though. Thats a bit of a drive from Springdale too.
You'll pick up navigating around the site before long. When I found this site a few years back, I found myself reading for hours.. even things that didnt pertain to anything I was working on
Theres a wealth of good knowledge here that is 2nd to none. Dave's pretty handy with the grill too

It's too tight, or you don't have the right spanner socket?

I have the spanner socket, its just on there too tight or there is a keeper on there or something that I am missing. I just got a better socket today and I am going to try it tonight. I'll let y'all know if it works.
There is no keeper. There is the outside locknut, then a tabbed washer, and then the actual spindle nut. Generally a 1/2" drive breaker bar on the spanner will work with a few shots from a BFH

I didn't have a breaker bar at the time because my cousin ran off with it, but I did have 1/2" ratchet with about a 3' cheater pipe and a hammer and couldn't get it, and my uncle, who is pretty darn stout tried it and couldn't get it.
