Looks like the track fence was pretty crappy. I'd think that there would be more put into keeping the vehicles on the track.

Yeah I was there. The whole track setup was cheap and everything was low budget for sure. The track owner even decided to not pay to have an ambulance at the track for the day because it was too expensive. He is lucky that Gary didnt get hurt or the owner would be in deep sh#$!

Even if he didn't get hurt, he could still be in for a pretty hefty problem if he doesn't watch it.

What do you mean someone elses fault? All I was saying is, that it was the OWNER OF THE TRACK'S RESPONSIBILTY to have an ambulance at the track during an event. If Gary had been hurt and in need of an ambulance, they would have to wait for one or wait for a choper which probably would have taken awhile since the track was in the middle of nowhere.

It is the owner of site where the show or event is going on to provide responsible amount of precaution incase of accidents. If your not willing to do that then you don't need to be putting on the event(alot of horse facilities have been sued for not having planned for accidents and care in case they do happen and horse event is a dangerous event just like drag racing.

that's a low blow bro !! that truck was setup for drag racing, and even with four flat tires will still probably leave any superduty in the dust !!...

this was not started to be a dodge bashing thread, but to just make people realize the dangers of this sport.

Watch the video closely.... either this was driver error or something wrong with the truck. He didn't appear to come off the throttle after the truck got loose, nor after it the first wall, nor after it hit the second wall. It didn't appear to get off the throttle until after it hit the pole.

I saw this too, hard to believe he didnt lift the throttle threw that whole ordeal. . Seems like mech error. Either the pump was flooding the engine or he decided to set the cruise control and hit accelerate the whole way down the track. Glad he's ok
