Sounds like lunch....I'll probably need a reminder later in the week. Not sure what's on the schedule for Saturday yet.

We'll make it lunch then.. I'll fire up the grill say 12:30 or so

As this is an impromptu GTG, I have no problem if you want to bring some beer..

There's a nice size pond out back if anyone wants to do some fishing..

All AR chapter members and family are welcome.. PM me and I'll give you directions

Gonna cook it in plastic then.....I take it you won't be needing these water heater tanks I have? You are still welcome to to them if you want 'em.

right now i think the plan is to use a water heater to dewater the oil, then pump into the poly for processing, then back into the water heater to remove the methanol

Ok...I'm getting ready to start clearing out the barn in the next couple of weeks so I can start prepping it to pour a floor. I'll holler at you before I take them to the dump if you haven't decided by then.

Unless somebody else wants them....just holler and they're yours.

- Just an update

I received my 2 processing tanks today..

I'll be ordering some pumps + brass valves, ect in the next few days.
I better go ahead and order a couple of fuel filters too.
Should I get these from fleetfilter? They are $20 with the cap attached..

I can't wait for the 1st batch of fuel..

Progress Report

I've been dragging my feet, mostly because I'm trying to make this for as little $ as possible.

To the far left is my 250gal tote for filtered veggie oil, right of that is the water heater to dry the oil and heat it for processing. The larger cone tank is my main processing tank, the smaller is the methoxide pre-mix tank. The Tote on the stand to the right will be for finished fuel.

Ive got another 3 weeks or so until my source for WVO opens for business, maybe if I can get my act together I can have it running by the GTG.
