I think it will be virtually the same truck. I don't think it is very different at all. Buy the 08 and save some $$$

The 08 and 09 will be very different. The 09 is the redesign. New interior, more power, new tranny, etc, etc.

In either case, wait until the 09s are out. You can then either buy the 09 or get the 08 even cheaper as a left over. Or buy a lightly used one for even greater savings.

And more new problems, until they get the bugs worked out.

With the few miles you have on your truck, you don't need a new truck. I would not buy a '08 because you will be buying almost the same truck you have.

When the 09's comeo ut, Ford will be putting out some really agressive incentives on the leftover 2008's, so if you really wanted to get a new truck, I would get a sweet King Ranch, Harley Davidson or Limited F-150 at a great price in the fall.

If fuel and the economy stays like it is now their will be money on the hood of the 09's as well.

Wait for the 09'. The resale value (from the newer model) will at least offset any savings you'll get by buying an 08'.

I'd wait until the 09's come out so you can at least compare the two models. The 09's should be better with more room in the Screw and a 6 speed tranny.

By then gas will be way over $4.00 a gallon and the incentives for the 09's should be really good. It's a bad time to unveil a new truck with gas prices so high.

I bet the incentives including cash back is going to be very enticing later this year on the 09's.

I would wait for an 09 without question. I am going to wait and see what happens with motors for the 2010 model before I buy one, then decide on an 09 of 2010.

Red face

Get the 09!!! Just the new tranny makes it worth it in my book. Like previously stated the truck is much better than previous. The only significant problems ford has had with new trucks is the powerstroke and that isn't theirs. That is unless you need the 6.2 in 2010.
