Hmmm...left coast/right coast.

My right coast (MA) relatives are left wingers, meanwhile us left coast relatives are right wingers.

At the last family GTG, I had a rude awakening when I saw my aunt wearing a Teddy Kennedy T-shirt.
Her son had a rude awakening when I asked him if he knew where the local (Cape Cod) gunshops were.

 

.......... ..........That is some funny stuff!!! Did Teddy know that your aunt swiped one of his T-shirts??? And...was it from the Fat Teddy...the Fatter Teddy...or...the Fattest Teddy???

You're on the right track, this Pugsley was an avid collector of firearms.

The company he worked for had two names. The original was changed to the current one in 1866.

He sold his entire collection of firearms (over 5,000) to the company in 1951.

Winchester as in the company is correct, but Oliver wasn't named Pugsley.

Chas Addams was a very good friend of Edwin Pugsley, who was the driving force (inventor, chief engineer & metallurgist) of the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. for 40 years. Everything Winchester introduced from the 1930's thru the 1960's had Pugsleys stamp on it. The Model 21 shotgun is the finest example.
