I think its time for another G2G. Some FTW buddies of mine have a cookout planned at Shelby Farms in Memphis. I hope some of our local FTE members can attend. I'm a member of both sites. Make your plans to be there. We are meeting around 11 am

I hope a few more members will try to make this meet. Everyone talks about having G2Gs but when the day comes around no one shows but the same small group that always does. I'd like to meet some of the local members & see their trucks. We have enough members in this area to have a huge G2G. We need to get it together & do it. We could have a great time & meet the folks we talk to on line. With enough people we could have a great Ford truck show.

Its on Walnut Grove in Memphis. Just go east on 240 to it coming from your area Dutch. Then go east on Walnut Grove.You can't miss it. It is about a mile past the construction in front of Baptist East Hospital.Take a left on Farm road when you get to the park. Its the first red light after the construction. I'll try to find out what the exit number is before the meet. Its the next exit after I 40 east coming from your area. I may make a sign to put at the park entrance if enough people decide to come.

if i have another ride by then i may get to come my "whitebeast" (F150XL 01' MODEL ) WAS TAKEN OUT THURSDAY 3-20-08 ROUND 7:45PM IN Front of my insurance (Direct)& little Ceasers in Millington was told this morning it was totaled out (as i already knew & a friend of the family who is a body man in millington told me before thier insurance even looked @ it )
An 18yr old in a C 350 Mercedes (his graduation gift from High school ) crossed over in front of me out of N/B turning Lane of 51 as i was headed S/B In hammer lane i couldnt advoid him couldnt stop in time & hit him @ 45 mph
He was carried from scene in ambulane complaing of neck & head hurting & was back @ work next day or so
I sprained my back & am starting therpy Monday 04-07-08 in Atoka @ Mid south Therpy
They (THIER INSURANCE)will get back w/ me by monday of next week hope all goes well

they offered me $7,074.32 for the beast friday (which dont even pay off the wage earner leaves bout $2500.00 left ) told them im starting in therpy & would get back to them on everything afterwards im trying to recover right now & focusing on getting healed up but after im feeling better & to here i can think stright w/o the pain im gonna get em .

Buddy dropped by yesterday and plans to be there I think. I'm trying to wrap up some things with the geotech outfit so I can get paid sometime next week but I'm about to dump that project and get geared up.

Well that didn't go too smooth - I drove around the place for about an hour, didn't find anyone, went out the back way and got lost in Germantown without a map...
What the heck was going on down there anyway? The place was jam packed!
The bright side of it all is that I now have eight pounds of steak, two fresh bottles of A1 sauce, plenty of charcoal, and it's still a beautiful day!!!
