You are talking about the rear glass right? I had my rear sliding glass replaced by a dealer a while back because of this rattle issue. The problem would only become present on cold days for some reason. My guess is that it had something to do with the weather seal. That noise sure was getting annoying.

On my truck It was the upper track that war causing it, I put a piece of foam between the track and the back wall of the truck and rattle stopped, but the window had a hard time opening. I took the foam out and sqeazed some silicon where I put the foam being careful not to get it everywere, I opened and closed the window a few times to make sure it moved freely, It has been OK for a good 6 months.

tsb # 06-23-6. im gonna try the silicone, thats what i was thinkin but long term i think it will deteriorate the felt. i dont wanna take the window out of the track to add felt to the window channel. these backseats are an f'in bear to wrestle out... ive done it twice.

I have a 2004 F150 SCAB. I was getting annoyed with a rattle of sorts from behind the rear seat. I found the info in this thread very useful for getting the rear seat back out. I tried one approach I saw with reaching in between the cussions to try and compless a clip... All I got was a bunch of bruises. This link used a screwdriver to compress the clip and presto!! The seat back was free!!!

There are pics that are helpful in knowing what to expect in the process.

Good Luck!
