changed thermostat now wont start????????????

 

you need to let us know a little more info year make mocel to start with and one more thing welcome

 

check the electrical connections all around every where you touched. including down the front of the motor and the sensors on the top front area of the motor. check these then report back. there should be no other reason for a no start after thermostat replacement. dan

 

X2 you might have unplugged something while you were working on the termostat.

 

Unplugged CPS or IPR inadvertently?

i also own a 1996 f-350 with a 7.3 diesel

 

The wire for the cam sensor runns right behind the thermostat housing you may have accedently pinched it when you put the housing back on. Theres also another sensor plug run in that loom but can't remeder what it is.
