From the Mt. Spokane Church Car Show, 2014

Well, I figured I'd try to post a picture with the new gallery..........I haven't the foggiest idea of what I'm doing, so if this works, I'll be truly amazed (it doesn't take a lot to amaze me). If it did work, the picture is a relatively recent one of Buford at the 2014 Mt. Spokane Church Car Show. If it works............enjoy! If it doesn't.......don't mind my fumbling about......it's normal.

It worked. You should fumble around some more! The images from your old threads don't work anymore, and we deserve the privilege of drooling over that truck.

Guy parked next to Blue.

100 ft of a 125 ft redwood in the bed!

Getting ready to take a classic 81 Ross mtb out for a spin. Only a classic can carry a classic!

There's a tall blonde that just started working with us. And I like her car too. Me gits a 300 SRT8 to keep it company.

Dropping off the son tonight at the gym. Can you see Blues got new shoes?

These are the sellers pictures, I still haven't personally seen it. I had my Dad pick it up for me.

Sweet, that's the same color combo as my 4wd. Looks like a lil better body than mine though.

Hey I'd really like to put a set of those side steps on my truck. Do you happen to have any pics of what they mount to? Thanks in advance

NorthwestX360, The tires are Toyo M/T 315/75R/16, and the wheels are 16x10" Centerline Wilderness Series Scouts. I did a lot of snooping to try to find the right combination that I felt fit the truck both in looks and size. The 35" tires fit the shape of the wheel well just perfectly, as anything smaller seems to look that way, and anything bigger no longer fits the shape of the well (different arc). I realize that everybody has their tastes, of course, but this was the mentality behind my decision on these wheels and tires. They look big enough for the truck, but not 'oversized', and the style of the wheel just seemed to be right for Buford.....(well, me too).

57rebel.....I don't think I have any photos handy of the underside of the installation of those steps, but if I recall, the instructions that come with those steps are pretty clear that it's a fairly straightforward installation. Maybe next month when I'm crawling around underneath Buford fixing little issues, I can snap a shot or two while I'm there if you haven't done anything about it yet.

NBC-Steve, March, Forealdrive, and Gigger........thanks again for the thumbs up! It's always appreciated. And far be it from me, March, to deny you guys any drooling opportunities..........just don't get any on the paint!

Buford, I agree with you on the tire size. That's the amount of lift and tire I want on my truck. I had 35" tires and a Rancho 3.5" lift kit on my previous '79 that I sold in the 90's, and the proportions were similar to your truck's. I sure wish I hadn't sold the Bushwhacker fender flares that I had on that truck! Thanks for the info.
