Just throwing this out to the SuperCab owners and hoping for a response. Has anyone snapped the little cable that attaches to the handle for swinging the front seat forward?
Someone managed to snap mine and now I'm trying to figure out how to buy/find a replacement? And how to get it in the damned seat!

Mine is in the process of conversion. The PO did most of the hard hotwork. Like has been described quite a bit on these forums, not much is bolt on swappable. My front end was switched to a 76 250 front springs and D44. the front spring hanger has a custom fabricated bracket welded to the frame. The power steering box was also boxed into a notched frame. I can see the 2WD cross member under the oil pan sits about 4" above my differential maybe a little more, but if you hit a rut or bump with enough force i'm sure it'll hit.The 4WD crossmember is further forward to avoid this. I'll likely modify this someday but for now I haven't had a problem with it. I have a C6 married to an NP203 that came supposedly from a '79 460 Bronco on a pallet that will be installed after I get the transmission rebuilt. I'll grab a NP205 before I throw it all in and then figure out linkage for the shifter. I still need to come up with a support crossmember for that transmission, shave down the rear driveline, and make up a new front driveline. Then I'll have to reroute the exhaust pipes I think before all is said and done. There was a lot of work done already but I have a lot of work still to do. I think in the end it will be worth it since the starter truck was in extremely good shape. Ultimately I wanted a 4x4 supercab in this trim package which are harder and harder to find. I can throw pictures your way if you have specific questions about different obstacles. Its at a stage of conversion right now where I can drive it around and have some fun with it. She'll have to sit for a bit once I start putting all the actual transmission pieces in and fab up whatever I need to fabricate.

I
1974 F350<br/> Buying this 106k miled OG paint survivor. Not one dent nor ding paint will buff out. 390 4bbC6 ac/pdb/ps Shortbed. This body is going onto the 1978 4x4 frame (after we shorten it) in next pic. We are fixing that up and swapping it onto this 2x4 one
78 F250 4x4 LB . Body will be transplanted to the 2x frame and a shortbed installed. This frame will be shortened and leafs removed to make way for longtravel raduis arms and coils.
My daily 79 lifted 2x shortbed Supercab.
