Stock bumper, it was part of the protection package IIRC along with those bumperette's you removed.

I personally like the uprights on this truck (not all) and I like cab lights (but not the ones that are there). I live in ND so I couldn't imagine not having some sort of flap. To much gravel spray otherwise.

I would venture to bet that the bumper is off of an 80's Ford, but I could be wrong. According to the prev. owner the truck was at a dealership and the roof of the dealership's building caught fire so the upper parts of the cab and hood were repainted because of bubbling. A lot of the plastic and rubber was replaced as well.

This pic is from the previous owner and the truck is dirty in it. I will see if I can find more photos tonight. Maybe I'll go find some snowbanks to go play on and take a couple shots tomorrow.

Edit: Guess I was wrong about the bumper. Thanks Ranger!

It's funny - I noticed that same bumper on a truck just up the page from your post with the pic. I guess they are stock - I just don't remember seeing that before.

As for the lights and flaps, etc. - it's your truck you should have it how you like. Mine (if/when I get around to building it) will be a trajedy for many here (prerunner with full roll cage, fiberglass, no bed and 3 or 4 seats), but it will also be the envy of quite a few as well...

Mine has the Bumperettes too. I like them, because you don't see many of them. One of these links will work.

Isn't that a 78/79 grill on that truck - or were the square headlights an option in 77?

Yes to the grille and no to the headlights. That is an early 77 which means it is a "Highboy". You can see the divorced T-case. Nice truck!

WOW. I really like that truck. My 79 had those same wheels and tires on it when i bought. I think they made the truck look really rugged.
