I AM making my 56 frontend title, I have it all bolted togethere, and then I cut the fenders, one side looks good they match up nice , but the othere side , the part of the fender that is bolted to the hood, sticks out about one inch. has any one had this happen to them, and how can I fix it, thanks ron

I don't think I know what a front end title is or why you would be cutting fenders to make one.
Can ya help me out here?

Take a look in my gallery. There is a photo of an orange truck (not mine) that has a full tilt front end. You can see that on both sides of the cut the fenders have a filler piece that braces the fender. On this one there is also a pin that locates & locks the hood into the correct place when it is closed.

There are a bunch of different levels of extreme to these tilt fronts. I inherited mine and it's great for working on the engine, but what a nightmare it has been to design bracing to prevent metal fatigue.

I have lots of pictures of some on 56s I will post as soon as the photo post mess is fixed.

In the mean time, the beauty of my portrait signature phot will have to do!
