I do not know what's in that secret formula, but there are emulsifiers and surfactants that can help to mix normally immiscible liquids, so I wouldn't be so sure without actually testing it.
One simple way test it is to make one mixture without the additive, and one with the additive, and put them in clear glass jars/bottles, shake them up, and then see how fast they separate.
