I'm swapping my 4.9 out to a 5.0 with some performance mods in a 94 SB 2wd 5 speed. Got a salvage yard 5.0, missing front brackets and bellhousing and motor mounts. Already working on engine harness and computer (probably going SD). Have a couple of questions from those of you in the know.

I've done some searches on here but cannot determine, will my 4.9 bellhousing work with the 5.0?

Will the frame engine perches have to be changed to small block specific or just moved?

Anything else to consider that I'll need to find from a salvage yard truck?

The 4.9 bellhousing will work on the 5.0, but you will need to use a 5.0 flywheel.
The 4.9 flywheel is internally balanced, and the 5.0 fylwheel is externally balanced. The motor mount brackets should be different. You will need to use the 5.0 ones.
