Sorry to say that my wife and middle son has been talking and we won't be moving to Vegas like we had planned. Our Middle son wants us to be close to him when he gets back and wants us to move to Kansas,so for now we will be moving there.
Things IMO always happen for a reason. Las Vegas is a nice City, one of my favorites. But in no way would I want to live there. I live 80 miles from it & love to go shopping, etc there, but the traffic is awful. Most everyone is in a hurry to go NOWHERE. It is just another hectic city. Most locals don't spend a lot of time around the Strip or the tourist areas unless they work there. I was born & raised in Nevada & have lived in that State until recently.
Hey Kermmy, I just put a stop on moving anywhere for now.We went through a lot to get the things we have,and she wanted to sell everything off and crush our wagon. I got to thinking a few days ago about all that and told her what I thought. So we are going to Kansas to meet our son then back home to NC to save up enough money to move including a Penske or a U-Haul truck.
Sorry to hear you're not joining us after all, although Vegas is not where I'd choose to live in NV (my apologies to all of you who live down there), to crowded, reminds me of what I moved to get away from!
