Made a snorkle

I made a snorkle for my 84 today, I figured this would help with the spuddering in deep water/mud, I wouldnt want to hydrolock my motor. Its made out of 2in PVC with a K+N filter on top. Here some pics to give you some ideas in case you want to make your own, since I had a hard time finding pics for my design.

making a snorkel is a good idea. ive seen people that have gotten their trucks into ponds and other areas that i wouldnt go. their motor sucks water and quits, then we have to get a truck with a heavy winch or a tow truck ot drag the thing out.

My guess is that it's a '84 Bronco with a '92-'96 cab on it.

Nope, haha... Its my wheeler, its gets used a couple times a year to go to the badlands, and for general stuff around the farm. Saying it gets beat on is an understatement.

I did the camo paint, it was really easy to do.

Actually is an 87 bronco frame. 92 F150 cab, motor, front clip. 93 F150 rear axle. 79 F150 front axle. It started life out as an 84 F150 reg cab stepside, the only thing left of the origional truck is the transmission and t-case.

and the snorkel got painted green.

Im gonna make something similar to that for my mudder. was gonna run mine into the cab but id like to keep heat in it for winter runs. Silicone in a spray can works pretty good on your cap/rotor/wires to keep the water out. Had my buddys ramcharger in water halfway up the doors and she didnt hack cough or even sputter.
