Care to call the Washingtn DMV and check on a serial number for a '36 PU, make sure it's clear and free of leins/etc?
I'm just too cheap to make a long distance call
Just have to tell'em you're considering buying this truck and if it's "clean" in thier system.
PM me if you can help, and I'll send the Title info to you.
Thanks
PS It is a Ford.
Do you have a cell phone? LD is usually free

You should also be able to call your local lic. office. they will want to know who it is or was last registered to and should give you the info and it will be a local call.
