1995 Ranger 2.3l

Lost my timing belt this morning or at least that is my intial diagnosis. Had to leave it about a mile from the house in a church parking lot and go back home to get the F250 5.4l . I'll have to get the Ranger hone this afternoon and repaired this weekend cause I ain't driving that 5.4l 80 miles a day unless I have to with gas prices . Anyway can anyone tell me if the 2.3l is an interference engine and if I may have valve damage as a result of the timing belt breaking ?

The 2.3 and the 2.5 are non-interference engines. You should have no valve to piston problems. jd
