Micke Grove Park Show

Dan and Mike, I'll do what I can, but I'm not sure if I still have the contact phone number for the Delta F-100 Elites. I posted this so that one of their group might respond. I will look for the website of their sister group the Bay f-100 Elites. They usually are very much involved in helping to set the show up. Jag

Gary, that's the best part. Everybody just shows up at Micke Grove Park in Lodi. It costs $5 to get in the park and you make your way to the SE corner of the 65 acres. Then, Tadaaa, there's wall-to-wall trucks with a few cars sprinkled in. If you want, you can meet up with us at 7:30 at the Carl's Jr. on Antelope Rd. just west of the 80 frwy. We usually have 4-5 trucks and cars caravan down together. Very cool. It takes about an hour to get there.
Jim, I hope you can make it, but a man's got to earn a living too.
Last night, I did make contact with the Delta Elites President. He confirms that it is the same rules as last year. Bring your own lunch and BBQ it in the pits (Elites provide some charcoal, but it won't hurt to bring your own) or just buy steak sandwiches from the vendor. The show will last until about 3:00 when they give out the awards and pick the raffle prizes.
They do judge the vehicles that want to pay the $10 entry fee. It is optional. Expect 100-150 vehicles, and bring your walking show so you can go to the zoo, rosegardens and maybe the amuzement park will be open. John

Just to clarify, the show is on SATURDAY the 15th. It should be great fun. I'm bringing the horse shoes! Anybody from Sacramento, or east of there, should think about meeting us at the Carl's Jr. on the corner of Antelope Rd. and Zenith in Citrus Heights. The caravan, or as some would prefer, truckavan, will be leaving at 7:30am. Jag
