I always did kinda like these cars. I wonder what the 3.8 supercharged manual would get for fuel mileage?

those cars get decent mileage even with the 5.0 you can see 20 city and 30 mpg or close depends of course the 3.8 should be good or even the 2.3 4 cyl

I wouldnt want it with a 2.3 that is getting to be a fairly big car for a little four banger.

I just love the idea of a supercharged engine with a 5 speed though.

The t-bird super-coupe has the 3.8l supercharged engine and before the sc came out was the t-bird turbo coupe, with a 2.3l turbo 4cyl(same egine as the mustang SVO). I had a '87 turbo coupe with a 5 speed, what a great car!! Should have never let it go!! I got up to 47mpg on the highway in summer with the cruise set at 110. Pretty good for power to, not quite as good as a 5.0l mustang of the same time, but very close.

cool, i didn't realize they had the 2.3 in them. it seems like too big a car for such small engine... i guess the turbo helps!!

Yes they did my friend a turbocharged 2.3 so Marlon nailed it right on the head you could of got a 5spd with the 3.8 or 2.3 just not the 5.0l
